Accounting Manager

NeoWork is hiring Accounting Managers to lead accounting operations for U.S. companies. You will own the month-end close, oversee AP and AR, and make sure financial records are accurate, timely, and audit-ready. Our teammates work directly inside our clients' teams and tools, while NeoWork takes care of recruiting, HR, benefits, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities • Own the month-end close process and financial reporting • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment runs • Review reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals • Manage and review the work of bookkeepers and accounting associates • Maintain internal controls and documentation • Partner with client finance leaders on reporting and process improvements Requirements • 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and close processes • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems • Advanced Excel skills • Good written and spoken English • High attention to detail and strong ownership • Based in Mexico, with a reliable home office setup and stable internet connection Nice to Have • Experience with U.S. GAAP • CPA or equivalent qualification Benefits • We offer health insurance for contractors • Holiday Extra Pay • The work hours generally align with standard business hours in the US, with some potential flexibility depending on the client's needs. • This is a 100% home-based position • We prioritize the mental health of our team members and offer mental health days to support their well-being. • In addition to the base salary, performance-based incentives are provided. • There is an annual review and appraisal process in place. • There are ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company.
